The August 14th meeting focuses on the “Garden Bounty” grown by Somerville Garden Club members. Members will bring in samples of fresh or cooked produce from their own gardens to share, and will also talk about growing the produce and how it was prepared. Plus there will be a group exchange of gardening questions and answers.
NOTE:
- If you are bringing some edibles for tasting, please arrive at the Senior Room, at 167 Holland Street, Somerville, by 6:45 pm for set up.
- Also, bring labels listing your samples’ ingredients for attendees who might have food allergies
All Somerville Garden Club meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are usually held the second Wednesday of each month at the Tufts Administration Building, (TAB), 167 Holland Street, second floor, wheelchair accessible. Parking is available, and the building is a ten-minute walk from the Davis Square MBTA stop.
